Permanent Clay Control

clayTITE is an environmentally benign, liquid-based cationic clay stabilizer used as an additive in well stimulation/fracturing fluids, in order to prevent clay swelling and so ensure maintaining reservoir permeability for an extended time. Through electrostatic attraction, the unique polymer structure of clayTITE can easily link clay layers so as to reduce solids dispersion and stabilize the water-sensitive clay-containing formations for a long time. Used at very small concentration (recommended 0.2-0.3%), clayTITE exhibits outstanding clay stabilizing performance and economic efficacy compared to the bench-mark choline chloride compound. clayTITE has favorable environmental and safety profile, i.e., it is stable at normal temperature, inflammable, low toxicity and has low irritation to skin.
